HELPING YOU CREATE THE HEALTHY LIFESTYLE YOU DESERVE

About
What is Wellness With Miriam?
At Wellness with Miriam, health coaching starts with the basics. Food, movement, sleep, stress, connection, and spirituality, the everyday fundamentals that quietly shape how you feel and live. I believe lasting health isn't about a strict plan you follow for a few weeks. It's about building a lifestyle that's actually sustainable, one that fits who you are and what your body actually needs, so healthy living becomes your normal, not something you have to white-knuckle your way through.
That means trusting your own body over any one-size-fits-all rule. It means small, steady changes instead of extreme ones. And it means getting back to feeling like the best version of yourself through understanding why health is important to you.
I'm especially passionate about walking alongside women navigating PCOS and hormone health, and supporting anyone managing or at risk for chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, prediabetes, or heart disease. Within all of these, lifestyle changes are often the most impactful tool available, but rarely the most supported. Health coaching bridges that gap, turning recommendations into habits that actually stick, so you can feel confident, energized, and like your healthiest self.
About Me
When I was diagnosed with PCOS, a women's hormonal and metabolic disorder, I was told birth control was the only way to manage it. No one talked to me about how to actually support my body with lifestyle and manage my symptoms day to day. I felt lost and extremely unsupported.
So even with a diagnosis in hand, I kept struggling. Weight gain. Fatigue. Mood swings. Hair loss. No ovulation.
It wasn't until I started exploring natural ways to support my body that things really started to shift. That experience changed everything for me, and it's what led me here: to natural, lifestyle-based health, and to believing that getting back to the basics is one of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves.
Becoming a certified health and wellness coach was how I turned that belief into something I could share. Getting back to the basics, paying attention to what I was eating, how I was moving, how I was sleeping, and how I was managing stress, didn't just help my symptoms. It changed how I felt in my body, how I showed up every day, and how I understood my own health. I want that for other people too. So that anyone feeling neglected or confused around their health doesn't have to feel as lost as I did.

Health and Wellness Coach Certification
MindBodyGreen
I completed my health coaching certification through Mindbodygreen, one of the leading wellness education platforms, through an NBHWC-approved program. This training gave me the tools to support clients in building sustainable lifestyle habits across nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and overall wellbeing, rooted in both coaching methodology and evidence-based health principles.

Bachelor of Science in Psychology
University of Minnesota
I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Minnesota, where I developed a strong foundation in human behavior, motivation, and research. During my time there I worked as a research assistant in the Motivation and Behavior Neuroscience Lab, studying the neural circuits behind motivation and behavior. My capstone research focused on functional medicine and lifestyle interventions that support mental health, which deepened my understanding of the connection between how we live and how we feel. These experiences shaped the evidence-informed, whole-person approach I bring to my coaching practice today.
